BOVI dehorning paste

BOVI dehorning paste is used to dehorn calves, sheep, and goats. The horn bud is palpable as a small colliculus at 4-6 days old animals. When the calf is fixed, cut the hair off the horn bud and its tight surrounding skin. Apply a film of BOVI dehorning paste with a supplied stick to a spot over horn bud and rub it thoroughly into the bud (30-40 seconds). It is not necessary any other treatment of the calf and the process of dehorning is finished. The old, necrotic skin peels off together with the paste residues after 10 -12 days. If the paste was applied well, according to instruction, complete dehorning is as a result.
